Lynnette, Maggie, Parker and I were driving up to Fairbanks for a couple of days. On the way we stopped at Talkeetna to check it out.

From this point, on a good day you can see Mount Denali (20,310 feet) plus two other big guys: Mount Foraker and Mount Hunter. |

Unfortunately, the low overcast would prevent us from seeing Mount Denali on this trip. But we did see the Susitna River close-up and personal.

| We had been to Talkeetna Airport back in April, but had not seen the town. Today we checked out the town, which is basically just this one street. Talkeetna is basically just a little tourist town. | ||||||
